The p-hub center problem is a fundamental model for the strategic design of hub location. It aims at constructing p fully interconnected hubs and links from nodes to hubs so that the longest path between anytwo nodes is minimized. Existing literature on the p-hub center problem under uncertainty often assumesa joint distribution of travel times, which is difficult (if not impossible) to elicit precisely. In this paper, we bridge the gap by investigating two distributionally robust chance constrained models, which cover theexisting stochastic one with independent normal distribution and the sample average approximation approachas a special case, respectively. We derive deterministic reformulations as a mixed-integer program whereina large number of constraints can be dynamically added via a constraint generation approach to acceleratecomputation. Extensive numerical experiments demonstrate the encouraging out-of-sample performance ofour proposed models as well as the effectiveness of the constraint generation approach.

张真真,同济大学经济与澳门永利唯一官网304副教授、博士生导师。入选上海市高层次人才计划(2019)。曾担任新加坡国立大学工业工程系助理教授,于香港城市大学管理科学系获得博士学位,厦门大学计算机科学系获得硕士和学士学位。长期致力于大规模整数规划和鲁棒优化的理论研究与算法设计,及在物流与运输规划、智能制造等方面的应用。参与解决了众多重要的企业问题,例如飞利浦的运输服务采购问题、香港公立医院的非紧急救护车调度问题、快时尚品牌CHARLES & KEITH的商品转配问题、新加坡物流公司的车辆调度问题,所取得的研究成果可帮助其大幅度削减运营成本的同时显著提高其服务效率及服务质量。目前已发表SCI/SSCI期刊论文20多篇,包括Operations Research(1篇)、Transportation Science(3篇)、Transportation Research Part B(3篇)等。现任世界交通大会(WTC)货运规划与物流管理技术委员会委员、管理科学与工程学会交通运输分会执行秘书长,并长期担任30多个国际知名期刊的审稿人。
