A Series of Lectures Revolving around “NetDragon Websoft Inc.’s Star Trek” on the Subject of Career Development was Recently Conducted Successfully.

Joint Centre for Professional Degree Education, School of Management&Economics, BIT recently held a series of lectures revolving around “NetDragon Websoft Inc.’s Star Trek” on the subject of career development on November 3. Taking responsibility of the incubation and promotion of the Group's strategic projects at present, invited lecturer Dongxing Fang, EMBA of Tsinghua University, is currently the Special Assistant Chairman and Vice President of Strategic Development of NetDragon Websoft Holdings of Hong Kong Main Board Listed Company. Mr. Fang has accumulated numerous experience in tactic and capital, and has promoted the incubation of a "unicorn" company as well as strategic financing and equity trading of more than $100 million.

Wang Zhaohua, Secretary of the Credit Party Committee, School of Management&Economics, BIT and Professor Chen Xiang, Director of the Center as well as the specially invited emcee, attended the lecture. Mr. Chen first warmly welcomed Mr. Fang's arrival, and then solemnly declared that Mr. Fang was appointed as a part-time instructor of Business Administration (MBA) of the School of Management&Economics,BIT. Secretary Wang Zhaohua issued the certificate of appointment afterwards.

The whole lecture revolved around the establishment and development process of Netdragon Network Holding Company. Through the growth proceeding of Netdragon Company, Mr. Fang showed the significance of ploy in the development progress of an enterprise. In order to expand in an appropriate orientation, first and foremost, the enterprise should formulate accurate  development target, and constantly adjust the strategic policy according to the fluctuation of market environment. The most momentous thing is after the strategic objectives are formulated. Execution determines whether those can be achieved or not. Similarly, as Mr. Fang pointed out, the theory applies to individuals.

After the lecture session, Mr. Fang and students of BIT who were main spectators had in-depth interaction. Apparently the audiences showed extreme interests, since nearly all seats were occupied. The interaction lasted for more than 30 minutes involving offering the best solutions to the question vectors one by one, which made tremendous benefit reaping for students present.

Finally, the students had a group photo taken with Mr. Fang when some students continued to discuss several issues with Mr. Fang, ultimately left with the grant expectation of next adieu.
