On December 5,2020, [Mingli Lecture Hall, 2020] was lucky enough to invite Xiaosong (David) Peng, Dean of the University of Caspian Sea, to bring you an academic report entitled "The Impact of Schedule Regularity on Cashier Productivity", in the form of live online broadcast of Tencent Conference.Some teachers and studentsof the School of Management and Economics attended the lecture. The host was Professor Li Guo, Department of Technical Economy and Strategic Management of the School of Management and Economics.
In the report, Professor Xiaosong (David) Peng first demonstrated that regular work arrangements are related to better rest and healthier lifestyles, thereby improving employee productivity based on the previous literature.Increasing productivity in turn helps solve the trade-offs associated with increasing working time regularity.Professor Xiaosong (David) Peng explored the impact of working regularity on cashier productivity and, in addition, validates the regulatory role of work experience between working regularity and cashier productivity.The results provide a basis for retailers to adjust their work arrangements and have some significance.The report aroused great interest from teachers and students, and launched a heated discussion and exchange, with a warm response, and was well received by the majority of teachers and students!
