Lin Ling, Dean of the Resources and Environment Branch of China National Institute of Standardization, visits

  On April 23, 2019, at 15:00 pm, Ms. Lin Ling, Dean of the Resources and Environment Branch of the China National Institute of Standardization, was invited to visit and give an academic report entitled “Exploration and Practice of Standardization Development of Ecological Civilization Construction”.This report was hosted by Professor Tang Junjun, deputy director of the CEEP. The teachers and students of the Center participated in the report.

  Researcher Lin Ling, enjoys special government allowances from the State Council. She is currently the Dean of the Resources and Environment Branch of the China National Institute of Standardization. She has presided over more than 20 national-level key projects and more than 20 international cooperation projects, including the National Science and Technology Support Project, 863, and 973. Hosted and participated in the drafting of more than 50 national green energy-saving and low-carbon environmental protection standards, published more than 50 papers, and obtained 2 patents and 6 software copyrights.She has been engaged in standardization research in the field of resources and environment for a long time, and her research achievements have won more than 10 national and provincial awards such as the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the National AQSIQ Science and Technology Inspection, and Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award.

  In today's report, Dean Lin mainly shared her research related to the construction of ecological civilization standards. Starting with the basic knowledge related to standards, and combining the cases in her actual work, she described the great impacts of standards on enterprises and society; then, Dean Lin gave a lecture on the standards related to energy and carbon emissions.Due to time limit, the audience was only able to communicate with Dean Lin on a few issues.
