Introduction:
This talk will present recent developments by our Decision Systems and e-Service Intelligence (DeSI) lab in recommender system methods and applications, including trust-enhanced recommender systems, fuzzy recommender systems, tree-structured recommender systems, group recommender systems, cross-domain recommender systems and recommender system virtualization. It will give few real-world applications of recommender systems.
Speaker Profile:
Guangquan Zhang received the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Curtin University, Perth, Australia, in 2001. He is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Decision Systems and e-Service Intelligent Research Laboratory in Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He has authored five monographs, five textbooks, and over 450 papers, including 223 refereed international journal papers. His current research interests include fuzzy sets and systems, fuzzy optimization and decision making, fuzzy transfer learning, concept drift and fuzzy modeling in machine learning and data analytics. Dr. Zhang was a recipient of eight Australian Research Council Discovery Projects grants and many other research grants, and the ARC QEII Fellowship in 2005. He has served as an Editorial Board Member for several international journals, and a Guest Editor for eight special issues of the IEEE TRANSACIONS and other international journals. He co-chaired several international conferences and workshops in the area of fuzzy decision-making and knowledge engineering.
