In accordance with the spirit of the document"Notice on Revising the Undergraduate Talent Training Plan" , the School of Management held a review meeting for the revision of the 2024 version of the Undergraduate Talent Training Plan on the morning of August 20, 2024 in Conference Room 345 of the main building of Beijing Institute of Technology.
Professor Li Weian, deputy director of the Teaching Steering Committee of Business Administration of the Ministry of Education, Professor Lei Yalin, member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Business Administration of the Ministry of Education, Professor Yuan Chun, deputy director of the Accounting Teaching Guidance Sub-committee of the Ministry of Education, Professor Hao Jinxing, deputy dean of the School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Yang Hua, deputy general manager of Beijing Jinfeng Chuangpei Culture Development Co., Ltd., Cui Hong, deputy general manager of the Development Planning Department of China Minsheng Bank and other experts attended the meeting for guidance. More than 30 people attended the meeting, including Professor Tang Baojun, Dean of the School of Management, Professor Yan Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, Che Huiquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the School of Management, responsible professors of various majors, department heads, teaching directors, teacher representatives and undergraduate teaching center officers of the School of Management. The meeting was presided over by Professor Zhang Xiang, Vice Dean of School of Management.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Tang Baojun extended a warm welcome to the experts attending the meeting, hoping that all experts would put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on the revision of the undergraduate talent training program of the School of Management. At the meeting, Yan Zhijun, professor of information management and information system, Zhao Lutao, professor of business administration, Chen Songsheng, professor of accounting, and Liu Ningyue, professor of accounting (Sino-foreign cooperative education) successively reported on the history of professional development, benchmarking analysis of domestic and foreign colleges and universities, teaching staff, general idea of training program revision, curriculum setting, credit composition, etc.
After each major reported on the revision of the training program, the participating experts further fully discussed and commented on the training program of each major in three groups. Then, in the opinion summary session, three experts, Lei Yalin, Li Weian and Yuan Chun, respectively, gave feedback on the evaluation of the training programs of each major on behalf of each evaluation group. Experts attending the meeting fully affirmed the feasibility, rationality and scientificity of the training programs of undergraduate majors in the School of Management, and also put forward valuable suggestions for the follow-up construction of various majors.
Finally, Secretary Yan Zhijun made a concluding speech and once again expressed his gratitude to the participating experts for their professional suggestions. The school will further improve the training program according to the suggestions of the experts.
