Recently, a new round of list of Zhijiang Science and Technology Think Tank research bases was released. Relying on the School of Management of Beijing Institute of Technology and the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology, the Digital Economy Innovation Research Center took the lead and was successfully approved as "Zhijiang Science and Technology Think Tank Digital Economy and Intelligent Decision-making Research Base"!

Zhijiang Science and Technology Think Tank Digital Economy and Intelligent Decision-making Research Base (hereinafter referred to as the "Base") is a high-end think tank built by relying on the core resources of the headquarter, and the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology. With nine engineering innovation research centers as the "background" and the digital economy innovation research center as the "pen", it connects the resources of the school headquarters and local think tanks. It not only consolidates the foundation of scientific and technological research and development, but also empowers social and economic development.

The base relies on more than 10 Class A disciplines of the Ministry of Education such as management science and engineering, business administration, control science and engineering, computer science and technology of Beijing Institute of Technology, 49 public R&D platforms and dedicated scientific research platforms of the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology, and cooperates with the Joint Laboratory of International Cooperation in Carbon Neutral Systems and Engineering Management of the Ministry of Education, the Key Laboratory of Digital Economy and Policy Intelligence of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the national, provincial and municipal scientific research platforms of the the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology. There are 35 full-time teachers and 15 part-time teachers in the base, including 15 teachers with senior professional titles and 15 deputy senior teachers. Associate Professor Zhu Bin is the director of the think tank base.

In order to serve the high-quality development of digital economy in Zhejiang Province, the base focuses on technological innovation and science and technology policies related to intelligent decision-making, and assists the government and enterprises in formulating strategic plans and providing policy suggestions and solutions in key directions such as data operation, social governance, low-carbon economy, smart agriculture, and airport economy in the field of digital economy. In the past three years, members of the base have presided over more than 20 national-level projects such as major projects of the National Social Science Fund, and provided more than 50 policies to party and government organs at all levels. The results have been adopted by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, the General Office of the State Council, the Development Center of the State Council, the National Committee of the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and other units.

In the future, the base will continue to be based in Jiaxing, serve Zhejiang and radiate to the Yangtze River Delta region, build a digital economy think tank featuring intelligent decision-making, provide intelligent solutions and policy consultation for the construction of digital Zhejiang, continue to integrate the characteristic advantages of Beijing Institute of Technology to enhance Zhejiangs new quality productivity innovation capabilities, and continue to contribute wisdom to the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talents in Zhejiang Province.
