On July 1, 2019, the National Science and Technology Foundation's third phase of the International Clean Energy Innovative Talents Training Project was held in the main building Room 241 in Beijing Institute of Technology. Professor Yan Jinyue, Applied Energy Editor-in-Chief, Academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Professor of the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, Luo Cheng, Director of the Department of Eurasian and African Affairs of the China Scholarship Council, Wei Yiming, Dean of School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Assistant Dean Chen Xiang, Director of the Joint Center for Professional Degree Education, and the backbone of young and middle-aged researchers from universities, research institutes, government agencies and enterprises all over the country attended the opening ceremony.The ceremony was hosted by Yang Yan, deputy director of the Joint Center for Professional Degree Education of the School of Management and Economics and director of the EDP project.
Dean Wei Yiming first warmly welcomed the arrival of the students on behalf of the School. At the same time, the School is very honored to undertake the training of the domestic phase of the project for the third consecutive year. To this end, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the China Scholarship Council for its trust. Dean Wei later introduced the characteristics of the history of BIT and the BIT School of Management and Economics, stating that the school will use the high-quality teaching resources of first-class universities to provide the most intimate services for students, and also hope the study at Beijing Institute of Technology could be an unforgettable memory for the students.
