On May 9, 2019, the three-year construction review meeting of the Beijing Economic and Social Sustainable Development Research Base was held at the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology.The members of the review expert group include Professor He Yaomin, Professor Xia Chenghua, Professor Xin Xian, Professor Sun Renjin, Professor Yan Xiangbin, and Zhang Yu, the Scientific Research Department of the Municipal Education Commission, and Liu Jun, Director of the Beijing Municipal Social Science and Technology Planning Office. Liu Fengjie, Zhang Xinyuan.Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Beijing Institute of Technology, Yang Zhihong, Vice President Hu Jun of the Research Institute, Chief Expert of the Research Base, Dean Wei Yiming, Party Secretary of the School of Management and Economics, Wang Zhaohua, and representatives of more than 20 teachers from the research institute and research bases attended the meeting.
The Beijing Economic and Social Sustainable Development Research Base was established in July 2015 by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Planning Office.The research base is based on the three first-level doctoral disciplines of management science and engineering, business administration and applied economics of the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology.The research base carries out research on major theoretical and practical issues in the process of sustainable economic and social development in Beijing, including three research areas: (1) sustainable development of energy economy and analysis of complex systems; (2) sustainable development of modern industries and risk management; (3) strategic emerging industry optimization decision-making and sustainable development.The research base was selected into the National Natural Science Foundation of China's think tank project in 2016, and was selected as the “Chinese think tank index (CTTI) source think tank” in 2018.
