On June 7, 2017, 4 p.m, professor Chansog (Francis) Kim of the State University of New York was invited to visit our school of economics and management accounting department, and gave an academic report in the main conference room 241 entitled "Readability of 10-k Reports and Stock Price Crash Risk".
In the report, professor Chansog (Francis) Kim based on his latest research results, took the readability of financial reports of listed companies as the core, to discuss the demands of institutional investors in capital market for financial reporting readability. Further, professor Chansog (Francis) Kim put forward new substitution variables of readability, and on this basis, verified the poor readability of financial statements of listed companies will increase its risk of tumbled stock price.
