On the afternoon of July 29, the 2022 International Conference on Global Governance in the Digital Economy was held at Beijing Institute of Technology.
As one of the sub-forums of the 2022 Global Digital Economy Conference, the forum was jointly hosted by Beijing Institute of Technology, the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization, and Deloitte China. With the theme of "Building a Healthy Ecology of the Digital Economy", the forum invited guests from home and abroad to jointly discuss the vision of digital economy governance, cross-border data flow, digital taxation and currency, digital regulation, and digital dispute settlement.
President Zhang Jun introduced the Beijing Institute of Technology in talent training, discipline construction, teachers, scientific research, international cooperation development.
Wang Guiguo introduced that the digital economy has become a new stage of human civilization development. Beijing Institute of Technology will jointly promote the forum on global governance rules of digital economy at this moment of great significance.
Sun Dong, Director of Science and Technology Innovation and Industry of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Shi Jianzhong, Vice President of China University of Political Science and Law, respectively shared the governance rules of digital economy with Hong Kong practice and the legal construction of digital economy respectively, and expressed warm congratulations on the opening of the Conference.
Secretary General Liu Chao, secretary of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization, issued the Commercial Arbitration Rules to the world, providing dispute settlement for dispute settlement in the future digital economy.
During the forum, Professor Liu Hao, executive director of the BIT International Organizations Innovation Institute, together with more than 100 scholars, professionals and practitioners, jointly wrote and issued the Beijing Declaration on Global Governance of Digital Economy and Ecology.
