On August 23, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the review results of the 2024 National Science Fund for Distinguished Young People application projects. Professor Qu Shen’s "Environmental Data Science and Technology" received funding (project funding of 4 million yuan).

The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young People project supports young scholars who have made outstanding achievements in basic research to independently choose their research directions to carry out innovative research, aiming at cultivating and bringing up a group of outstanding academic leaders who have entered the forefront of world science and technology.
