From August 9 to 13, 2024, the 84th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Management (AOM) was held in Chicago, USA. More than 10,000 scholars from all over the world attended the conference. The theme of this conference is "Innovating for the Future: Policy, Purpose, and Organizations". "The Compensatory Mechanism between Presenteeism and Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Healthcare Workers in China" was accepted at the 84th AOM Annual Meeting and presented at the Sick and Working: Innovation in Presenteeism Research Session on August 13. Yang Tianan, an associate professor at the School of Management of Beijing Institute of Technology, is the first author, Wang Tianyu, a doctoral student at the School of Management, is the second author, and Wang Guoan, an undergraduate at Xu Teli College, is the third author. Deng Wenhao, a doctoral candidate at the School of Management, and Deng Jianwei, an associate professor are the co-corresponding authors.  This article was reviewed and received valuable comments from Sharon K. Parker, academician of AASS and former associate editor of Academy of Management Annals and Journal of Applied Psychology, and Gary Johns, former associate editor of Journal of Organizational Behavior.During the conference, teachers and students of our school had extensive academic exchanges with management scholars from all over the world, which further broadened their research horizons and obtained brand-new research ideas.
