Technology has changed the way people work and the way businesses manage their employees. This paper systematically combs the literature on technology and human resource management published in the past sixty decades on Human Resource Management. Based on these 154 articles, the author divides three periods of technology evolution (divided into the emergence of personal computers in 1977 and Internet services in 1997) and summarizes three technical research perspectives (tools, agents and whole) and three technical research topics (impact of technology on work and organization, application of technology in human resource management activities, and the management of technical workers). Based on these findings in the past research, the author proposes the future development direction for human resource management and new emerging technologies.
