On January 11, the 15th Young Scholars Academic Seminar of the School of Management and Economics was held in lecture hall 240 of the main building. The seminar, lasting three months and involving interdisciplinary review, selected 13 young faculty members for presentations to the school assembly. The conference attracted over 100 participants, including young faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students. The school specially invited six external senior experts from institutions such as the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Tianjin University, and the Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Education, along with six internal experts to critique the reports of each young scholar. Ultimately, two were awarded the grand prize, five received first prizes, and six were awarded second prizes. Since its launch in early November, a total of 50 young faculty members have participated in the academic reporting of three primary disciplines: management science and engineering, business administration, and applied economics, presenting the representative research outcomes of the past year. Both internal and external review experts provided constructive feedback on the novelty of the topics, completeness of the content, innovation of the methodology, feasibility, and rationality, and also evaluated and guided the young scholars on their academic level and expression abilities. Dean Wang Zhaohua and Secretary Yan Zhijun expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the school for the participation and support of all experts and affirmed the excellent reports and hard work of all young faculty members.
